Design a candy bar, and tell everything that’s in it.  Come up with a name and a design, draw and color a label:

I would have nuts, apple chunks and caramel in my candy bar.  I would call them “Golden Bars”.  I would sell one for 25 cents and a box of them for $1.00.

Halloween in France was backwards from the American Halloween.  The people watching the parade threw the candy to the kids (all in the parade).

[True story about something that happened while we were house-sitting in France in a fancy old house with an alarm system.]

One day I was reading at night. Then I finished reading. I went to tell my mom and dad, but I set the alarm off and almost scared myself to death! I ran to the door of my parents’ room with my ears covered by my ans. The alarm sounded like this: ding a ling ling over and over again.

There was an august king. He found some mold in his bread. It was as gray as stone and not at all opulent. His complaint was audible throughout the palace. His crown was made of real gold. He was not lazy. He didn’t seize things. His mood was not counterfeit. His weapons are in the royal armory and all jumbled up. His palace is exposed against the other buildings. He is only 10, but is alowed to watch the sunrise.

What is your favorite book/story so far? Why? What were the characters like?

My favorite story is “The Land of Elyon” It’s a pretty good book. Alexa is the main character. She can talk to animals with a stone she found but it wears out in the end. The pages are made to look like one of the books for Renny Lodge’s library. It has 257 pages.
